Play Festival! 11th - 14th June
Hello!
We are The Dundee Play Forum!
Launched by ScrapAntics CIC in 2024, The Dundee Play Forum formed as a grassroots response to deepening challenges in community wellbeing. Evidence shows that play, both indoors or outdoors, is vital to physical health, mental wellbeing, social inclusion, and happiness.
We see play as a radical, sustainable and effective tool for public health and wellbeing.
Our mission is to champion the value of play for all, supporting citizens to reconnect, relax, and imagine new possibilities together. We believe in the power of shared playful experiences to break down generational and cultural barriers, reduce stress, and foster community wide empathy.
Our vision is a playful Dundee, where anyone - regardless of age, race, gender, religion or means - can engage in play across the city.
