Creativity
Creativity is core to ScrapAntics… we offer workshops, facilitate large-scale creative community projects and sell a huge range of recycled art materials from our ScrapStore.
ScrapAntics have affordable artist studio spaces, home to a group of incredible artists working in a range of different media and disciplines. Rented on a monthly basis, these studios are next to the ScrapStore and include use of a communal space.
Our studios are full at the moment but we have occasional vacancies - if you are interested in being on the waiting list, please get in touch.

Creative Community Projects
We are always keen to engage the community and enrich our local surroundings in any way that we can. Sculptures, murals, exhibitions and more - if you are looking to involve your community group in something exciting and creative, or want to find a local artist to work on a project, please get in touch. We can create projects for all ages and abilities.

Creative Workshops
We offer a range of workshops and creative sessions which you can commission. We work with many local artists, each with their own particular skills and techniques, meaning we can offer a huge variety of creative workshop opportunities.
Our creative workshops can be designed to fit specific group needs or linked to the school curriculum and STEAM. We teach artistic processes ranging from printmaking to painting, design to model making and everything in between!
Whether you are looking for an entertaining activity for your community group, interested in a unique birthday party idea, or are an artist and would like to use our space to offer a workshop, please get in touch.
Activity Packs
We create ready-made packs containing everything required for a fun creative activity, such as puppet making or soap carving. During the covid-19 lockdown, we gave away 1000 of these packs for free!
Suitable for all ages, our packs can turn a dreary day into something stimulating and positive. Please get in touch if you would like to commission creative packs.
Artist in Residence
Art Antics
We welcome proposals for our Artist in Residence placement.
We can offer a working space and a vast and changing library of recycled materials. If this sounds appealing, please get in touch!
In 2022 we welcomed Spanish artist Veredas Lopez as our Artist in Residence, who created an incredible sculpture from recycled plastics. In exchange for the space and materials, Veredas kindly taught our staff her unique plastic technique.
